What if there is a You that has never seen the light of day, has never got to say, "Hey, what about me?"
What if there is a You that you have never even met and certainly never permitted to just be, without fear of judgment or condemnation?
What if you live your life on the sidelines in constant fear of failing to please those who forever seem to stand in judgment of you and your life?

As a student of psychology I know plenty of people in the field of psychology who do not particularly like Dr. Phil, but I always seem to note a hint of jealousy or resentment. Some believe that he over simplifies and others whole-heartedly disagree with him. I personally agree with much that he was saying, but I do feel like he is trying too hard to fit the persona that "Dr. Phil" has become. I never have cared much for his show, although I did like him when he was first on Oprah. I have read two of his books and I do like them for the most part.

Dr. Phil is all about sensationalism. I think he is a quack who sets people up to look like idiots on his show. He has been very vocal against homeschooling.
