“Laugh out loud funny, a different book from one of the new must reads in Sci-Fi. So far from his other stuff but as brilliantly inventive and page turning. If you haven't read his first two -Old Man's War and Ghost Brigade pick them up, the 3rd in this series is out shortly.”
“I loved the humor in this book! It was just fantastic. I wrote down a lot of funny quotes for my collection.”
“This is the only book in my list of top favorites that is unlike the others. Most of my favorites have some social commentary (God Bless You Mr. Rosewater) and/or a powerful ending (Mother Night and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest). The Androids Dream was the book/reading version of seeing a movie like Die Hard (or whatever your favorite action movie might be). I couldn't help but see Bruce Willis in the role of Harry Creek while reading this. And to think I found this book at the grocery store, and that I only picked it up because of the implied reference to Blade Runner invoked by the cover (Blade Runner was based on the book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep).”
