This hilarious book promises to be one helluva joy ride!!The characters in the book are quite cliche but this makes it all the more enjoyable, and by the end of the book you are clutching your stomachs wild with laughter!!A true master-piece &a must-read for all Indians!!

Hillarious account of a small town Indian visiting US of America.h/e the humour gets lost at many places in between. And too much has already been written and shown on sreen about this cross culture shocks. An absolute time pass and one time read.

It is indeed a hilarious book... Randy's character was delightful. Bt some times auther get out of track... Specially when, Gopal visits black american locality with peacock, n Gopals lonelyness at the time of Christmas....
I found this part of the book quite boring n seemed like auther has lost his track.

It's one of those popular books that you must read because everyone you know has read it. I bought the book because it was so cheap and I read it, enjoyed it and put it aside, forgetting all about it. It's so much slapstick like one of those old Mehmood Bollywood movies. Read it if you must keep up with the times. But for God's sake don't recommend it to anyone else.

The book is about a cross-cultural life and living in America. A typical and true account of an Indian as in peer pressures and expections of the society he lands in!
