One of my all time favorite books. I must have written three papers on the novel in college. I'm going to read it again soon. Highly recommended.

I read Sula in college and never forgot it. Sula Peace is a "bad" woman. She and Nel provide a story like none other. They make this book unforgettable and a real classic.

I love everything that she writes (almost). This is a favorite along with Beloved.
As usual the story is a sad one but the characters have a lot of spirit and are unfuorgettable.

It is easy to dislike Sula Peace, one of the two heroines of Toni Morrison's SULA. Her character is well-imagined. But the book is easy to treasure; it is written like its destined to be a classic in no time.
