Story of Call centre workers in India who attend at unearthly hours in their land to needs of people at the other end of the world, often getting abused into the bargain, all due to an easily available lucrative source of income. These people get recruited out of colleges, something of a drastic change from yore when well qualified graduates of most disciplines found it difficult a la Citadel and were disillusioned. Now, this is a impossible dream come suddenly true for no reason, one is paid several times over what a parent got with hard work for something as simple as calling or attending to calls mostly at night when everyone in your city is asleep. Good money, but difficult to stand the sense of life and time flowing past while one is doing this with no rewards in terms other than money that one has no time to enjoy or spend.
And then one night there is a jolt of an awakening. Life changing visit to deep consciousness for everyone working together when out for a drink after work.
Pursuit of easy money is taking time away from life's aspirations and other matters that need attention, but those that are busy in this pursuit of money are stuck in a rut and unable to get off the wheel, need the money nevertheless, and then there is long overdue awakening.
