“I think the book is much better than the movie. I don't like Winona Ryder at all. Anyway, the major point that people seems to forget is that this book is a real story.”
“i loved it all.”
“The book and the movie are both fantastic, but in very different ways. I prefer the book, but I did read it before I saw the movie. I didn't quite buy Winona Ryder as Susanna, but I loved Angelina Jolie as Lisa.”
“i do think the movie was better than the book buuuut that's because i saw the movie first and was in love with susanna's story so i had to read the book.. i'd probably think differently if i read the book first.”
“Unlike some of the other comments here I found the book much better than the movie and I thought it was an amazing book as well. I wrote quite a lengthy essay off my reaction to this book and some of my own experiences. One of the greatest things about this book is that it touches on an aspect of everyone life in someway. Through all of the different characters and situations everyone can identify with something, maybe not to the same extent, but it is there. The big difference as Susanne herself says is, "...being crazy is you or me amplified. Have you ever told a lie and enjoyed it...". Everyone has thoughts of letting go and giving into the uniqueness of themselves. Everyone, now and then, do give in. The difference between being crazy and sane is knowing the difference and the majority of the time maintaining that difference. ”
“this is the best of the best. Best in the entire planet,i guess.well , sometimes we r crazier than crazy ppl . Sometimes they look deeper of their life than we do . They have been in the most terrible life that we couldn't imagine . We always think of what we don't have just like Susanna . And we always arm oursleves to cover our fear like Lisa . We r just like them and we all need to discover our own life means and care about others.”
