One of the best-selling golf books of all time since its publication in 1974. This edition has been updated with Part 4, "Reflections and Recommendations," which is quite interesting--things Nicklaus has changed his mind about, the PGA tour, technology, dealing with your swing and aging, etc.

The book deals nicely with the fundamentals of golf, the most important part of your swing. Even when Nicklaus goes back to his youth coach, they work on fundamental, not tricks. What matters to Nicklaus is "impact," not so much the mechanics of the swing (whether your a "hands" or "body" swinger, for example).

I'm not sure this is a good book for beginners, as he takes a lot of knowledge for granted. But if you have some experience, there's no doubt this book can take your game to a higher level.
