“The secret of marriage is simply to love and know all women through one woman.”
    -Don Juan

The Spanish Casanova, Don Juan is known as the world’s greatest lover. Born of inferior birth, his mother abandoned him in a barn owned by nuns so that he can be taken care of and hopefully, to be loved.

Unfortunately a scandalous event led him to the care of the self-righteous and hypocrite fray and inquisitor, Father Ignacio. Father Ignacio considered himself as the carrier of the words of God and his wrath and because of this he saw that it is up to him to make the young Juan’s life as a living hell full of beating and whipping as his “punishment” for his scandalous behavior.

Afraid and angry Juan ran away and lived in a tavern teeming with robbers, assassins and prostitutes. He lived the remaining of his youth as a rope climber, stealing from the rich. He was then discovered by the Marquis for his talents and his unmistakable magnetism to women as he witnessed how a famed courtesan looked at the young Juan with lust and longing. The Marquis then taught him the arts of seduction and and amorous skills.

Being the protégé of the most famed galanteador (seducer); the Marquis, Don Juan surpassed the skills of his master and was the talk of the whole of Spain. . He was rumored to have lain with all the women of Spain of all classes and has dishonored fathers and husbands alike. Why these women submitted to Don Juan freely was a mystery to all the men in Spain.

Don Juan was the answer to all the lonely women's prayers. With his sensuality and his steamy technique of the art of love making, all women of Spain wanted to be with him even for just one night. However he has one condition, he refuses to give him his love because of the ghost of his past and cares for them equally without any exceptions.

His life was constantly in danger either from the men which he has dishonored or the Inquisitioner, himself who will find it nothing to hang Don Juan in the gallows.

However little did he know that the greatest danger he is ever going to face is finding the woman he truly loves.

This amazingly written book caught my heart and as promised I devoured the book within three days! With the author's rich imagination and rich language this book took my breath away. It's not cheesy and it's very sensual.

The epic of Don Juan is captivating and gripping. I just could not put the book down and I read it until the wee hours of dawn.
