In this book, I set out to explain why the topic of genetics is so important for all of us, and specifically how it can be very informative with respect to questions about the causes and course of both mental disorders (such as depression or schizophrenia) and normal psychological characteristics (such as variations in scholastic achievement or personality characteristics).
