I enjoyed this light "beach read." It was a bit predictable, but I didn't care. I'm eager to read the sequel.

Plainly annoying... felt there is no honest relationship with her "bestfriend", Darcy. I just flipped through many pages knowing what to expect...

I liked this book since it changed my perspective on cheating. I'm not saying that cheating is necessarily right, but it made me aware of the emotional aspect of cheating. Plus, I really felt close to the narrator since her voice was very realistic.

This book was a page turner but I hate the overall message: You can't be happy unless you have a man.

i really enjoyed reading this book!i root for rachel all the way...though falling for your best friend's fiance isn't the advisable way of finding your one true love, under the circumstances, for rachel, it worked-and it was even romantic...rachel and dex' love for each other seemed genuine enough...somewhat ideal but for the wrong timing...and what made things more complicated was rachel's friendship with darcy, the bride-to-be...but in the end, i definitely agree that a person's happiness in finding true love is more important sometimes, even to the extent of losing something as valuable as friendship...

Despire the Bas Bleu nod, I thought this book looked so goofy, and the whole New York lawyer thing is so cringe-worthy. But the opening passage, with its pitch-perfect evocation of Forenza sweaters and double pierced ears drew me in. I remember having one of those patriotic drums for the Bicentennial! Pure nostalgia.
