Many elements of his traditional upbringing on Elda were incorporated in his leadership and in the original foundation of the Dramudam traditions. Since the original formation, many traditions from other races have also been introduced, giving the Dramudam a rich heritage. Almost all group Dramudam ceremonies involve dance as a form of expression. This can be directly attributed to Guruma and the Eldatek. Guruma was presumed dead after an Utahar attack destroyed his ship in a savage battle five revolutions after the signing of the Isolation Treaty.
