“The ending was a wee bit hokey but the book itself was a fascinating glimpse into post-apocalypse America. I read it back in the 80's before so much of the tech revolution had occured and during a time of great stress about the impending destruction of the world. I may find that it doesn't speak to me in the same way 25+ years later. PS do NOT watch the Kevin Costner movie it hardly resembles the book.”
