I thought that Telling Christina Goodbye was a really good book. It's focusing on how much you want to help and love people.
Oh my goodness. That was the saddest book i have ever read in my entire life!! I actually cried, because it always made me think of someone important in my likfe who has died. If you read it, I know for sure you will love it!!
This is saddest book ever! I almost cried!

24.)At the end of the novel I do feel hope for Trisha and Cody. Why I feel this way is because they have gone through a tough situation. The car wreak made a dramatic chapter in their lives. Trisha wasn’t hurt once, but twice! Having to deal with the death of her best friend was making her go insane. Knowing that she saw her friend lying in the snow killed her inside. She was Badly hurt and didn’t know what was going on. After being in the wreak she went dilatational. As she was in the hospital seeing the dead body outside her room, she knew it was Christina. She even went through the pain of her boyfriend in a coma. She wasn’t able to see him for a while, or even talk to him. When she was able to talk to him, he didn’t know who she was. That made her feel terrible inside. She didn’t know what to do. But she never gave up on him. He soon came back to memorizing things. Which was really good to help her keep strong for him. He was starting to give up on everything but they managed to stay strong.
27.)I did find this book as a quick read because I could relate to this novel. I was able to get in to the theme of the book within that first chapter. This novel made me cry. I have never read a novel that was so touching. I have also learned that all of the novels that Lurlene McDaniel has wrote are all based on true stories. The part of the novel that got me really into it was when Trisha quoted “noting is ever going to be the okay again. My best friend is gone and my life will never be the same!” this was the part that really touched me. It was also the part that made me cry. I know what it feels like to lose some who you love very dearly. As I got half way into the first chapter I couldn’t put the book down. I instantly knew what was going trough Christina’s mind as well as Trisha’s. dealing with the boyfriend that you love and don’t want to disappoint and with the friend that you know you should listen to its very hard to make everything happen the right was. This novel was a very quick read for me because I could understand the situations and as well relate to most of them.
65.) One event that I can relate to the most in this novel is losing a best friend. When Trisha was in the accident she lost her best friend Christina. I have lost a best friend in a car accident. Her name was Jillian Leanne Kenidy. We had the best times of our lives. We used to hang out every weekend. Go to the movies and even talk about our problems with each other. Just like Trisha’s and Christina’s friendship we weren’t in the same school. We were very close though close enough to be sisters. When she was 12 she got into the car wreak. I was going crazy I never thought that it would ever be possible to get over her death. I got so mad about her dieing. We were supposed to be best friends for life. When I found out she died I wouldn’t talk for a very long time. I remember my patents telling me that it would be alright and it would be okay. I thought that it would never be okay and that I would never be able to get over it. I just hoped that Trisha would be able to let go but never for get about Christina. Because I know that I will never forget about Jillian. I think that if you like to read about things that actually happened you really should read this novel. Who knows you may even be able to relate to the story. You will find this novel as a quick read like I did. This novel is really a story for girls. But boys you can read it as well. If you do ever read this novel I promise you this, you wont regret reading it.
45) In the novel, “Telling Christina Goodbye”, there were four main characters. Tucker, Christina, Cody, and Trisha are the main characters. In the middle of the book, they are driving home from a double date and they get in a car accident. Christina ended up dead, Cody in a coma, and Trisha and Tucker injured. During the book, I learned about each character’s personality. My favorite character was Trisha and my least favorite was Tucker. Trisha was my favorite because after her best friend died, she did everything she could for her family and her friends. Tucker is my least favorite because before Christina died, they were boyfriend and girlfriend and he treated Christina like crap. He was always fighting with her and it mad Christina sad. He never got a chance to apologize for him being a jerk to her because it was too late and she died instantly. He was not nice to her and that’s why I didn’t like him. But when Christina was sad because her and Tucker got into a fight, Trisha was always there for her when she needed advice. She was a good friend.
57) This novel was so interesting and well written; I would want to read it a second time. If I did read it a second time, I think it would help me understand some parts that I didn’t quite get the first time I read it. And if I got confused on some parts the first time, it would make it clearer for me and I would understand some parts more. I enjoyed reading it, so I would read it again just because it was a good book. There were sad parts, but they made the book more interesting, and it made me want to keep reading and not put the book down. During the book when they were in the hospital was a little confusing to me, so when I read it a second time, I will concentrate more on that particular part. The sad parts were interesting, and they made me want to read it again so I could get the whole feeling on it.
59) If I had to give advice to any character in the novel, I would choose to give it to Tucker. Before Christina died, he was a jerk to her and he didn’t treat her like a real boyfriend should treat his girlfriend. He treated her like crap and it made her sad every time they fought. They fought a lot. And most of their fights were because Tucker gets mad at everything and he over exaggerates. He always made Christina upset and mad at herself because she thought it was her fault they were fighting. I would tell Tucker to treat Christina better because he doesn’t know how soon he was going to loose her. And now that he did loose her and he didn’t get to apologize, he feels bad for treating her the way he did. When they get in fights, I would tell him to tell her that it was his fault and apologize for acting the way he did. So it would’ve made their relationship stronger and it wouldn’t have ended so harsh when she died. And he wouldn’t have felt so guilty.
