“One of my favorite books. The overall story line move forward in this book. We also were able to see the deep bond between the King and his second in command. It was a great read.”

It was an entertaining story, but one I have read a thousand times before.”

I love her books where she introduces old characters back coz it gives the a sense of belonging and shows the connection that the Carpathian's share among themselves.
This book packed action. It had a little bit of everything. shape shifting, magic. I think it's a good book and worth spending every minute in reading it. ”

The main villain being Xavier an evil wizard jealous of the Carpathian long lived lives.
Vikirnoff is a a very bossy and old fashion Carpathian.
Natalya is a person that does not know much of her heritage. However, the one thing she is absolutely sure of is that Xavier has to be stop.
Vikirnoff really deserves a mate that thinks for herself and is a warrior, after all in an earlier book he came across as a chauvinist.
Great action in this book but at times it was a bit heart wrenching.”
