Yes | No“A lifelong favorite for me, this book acts as a field guide for mythical creatures such as Demons, Fairies and fallen angels. The book is somewhat humorous, but also possesses a cynical side to it, as it describes the eating habits of the Kappa (who eats its victim's entrails through the victim's anus). I personally thought that this book was interesting, as it also makes it seem that the creatures are real, and "brings them to life" (although not for real). I would recommend this book to people interested in belief systems, as well as fans of horror movies.”

It lists a vareity of supernatural beings around the world, their origins, and how one "dispells" them. The format may be humorous, but the overall information provides interesting examples of international folk traditions.”

It includes creatures from Christianity, Hinduism, Celtic religions, etc. Very satisfying.”
