“I'm so disapointed in this series! In fact, I'm so disapointed that I'm NOT going to read "Eternal Hunger" (3rd in this series)!!!
Cameron Dean does NOT need to be writting Vampire paranormal romance! She needs to be writting "time travel" romance!!! The reason I say this is because through the 1st & 2nd book in this series she couldn't make up her mind where she wanted to be, in the past or current time!!! Hell, I got a bad case of whip-lash!!!
Also! the main character (Candace Steele) spends the whole book(s) saying that she doesn't want anything to do with her Vamp lover (Ash)... as she's in bed with him!!! She is WAY too wishy-washy! She knew what Ash was (he told / showed her) from early on! Gawd! she's so aggrivating! What's wrong with her!? he's a HOT vamp! Hellooooo??????
Okay, yeah... I told you I was wizzed off! To put it short...
Read it if ya wanna, but you're gonna end up with a BAD case of whip-lash, along with some disapointment. I think you can find a better Vampire romance novel!!!
This is just my oppinion!”

This is the second in the Candace Steele Vampire Killer trilogy ( Think Stephanie Plum as a vampire hunter ). This one picks up where we left off with the first book in the trilogy with Candace still fighting vamps and her own deep rooted desires for one vamp that holds the key to her heart. Though she tries to fight the feelings she has for vampire Ash when they are together she just can’t seem to forget all that they shared together.
In this one there is a major coo brewing in the vampire world that could shift the balance of power and make it dangerous for both vampires and humans alike. The grand poker championship is being held this year at the Sher Casino where Candace works security. The talk on the street is that a major con is set to upset the entire tournament and her boss is up in arms. She has to figure out who is behind the coop de gra before everything goes down at the huge televised tournament on New Years Eve. To complicate things even more Ash has reappeared yet again and now she’s not only fighting vamps and cons but her endless desire for Ash and the world that he longs to usher her into where they can spend eternal bliss together. Will she overcome all these dark forces or be lost within their dark embrace?
Another excellent read though I didn’t like it quite as much as the first one it’s still very close and a great story. It leaves you longing to see what’s going to happen in the next one!
