“In general, I like Greg Bear, but this book is currently my favorite from his ouvre. It was full of the sense of wonder that originally drew me to SF at the age of 8.”

“I love this book. This was my first Greg Bear novel. I was immediately enthralled by his vivid characters, and stunning blend of science fact and science (for now) fiction. Anyone interested in applied quantum physics and esoteric math should read this book. It's one that I'll keep going back to year after year - like Dune or Stranger in a Strange Land or Lord of the Rings.”
