This was one of those books that I loved so much that I didn't want it to come to the end ... at least through the first half of the book. The second half was not disappointing. The only reason I may not have continued to feel the same way was because the mood of the book became sadder.
I have traveled to Turkey and read this while preparing for a second trip there ... to the Aegean and Mediterranean coast where the book is set. I'm sure this enhanced my enjoyment of the book, but I...
