Not really my type of book - better for those interested in medical or technological based storylines. OK for a quick holiday read though.

Creepy book about poisoning from Hamburger. Makes you never want to eat meat again.

Wow...enough to make me become a vegetarian. A scary book and a page turner.

2 STARS. It was an ok thriller, but the author obviously has an agenda. Multiple agendas. He rages against meat processing plants, corporate medicine, and anything else he wants. His protagonist is very angry for most of the book and as such, was not very likable. And the disregard for involving police and proper authorities is just a ploy to further the action. I am not a fan of this book. Of course I have my own bias. I am a firm believer in keeping agriculuture alive in the U.S. Do we really want to buy our food from other countries because it is too difficult and expensive to produce it here? Don't get me started!

One of the best medical writings of cook.. different from the conventional OPs and ORs. Cook has made the best delivery about the minuscule danger ever known to mankind.
