This book was called an 'erotic' romance but it didn't seem to be that to me. It really struck me as a basic romance with the love scenes a little more explicit than in some other romances but not really. It was the story of a woman finally dealing with the abuse she had suffered and letting go of the guilt she felt when she didn't act to save her abuser's life. She didn't feel she was worthy of love and tried to keep everyone at a distance. Her relationship with Dan forced her to come to...
