Narrated by Clea Lewis. Does Moxy have ADHD? I'd say so because she gets supremely distracted from her assigned summer reading of "Stuart Little" which she's been putting off all summer. Her plan to read during the time-between-activities never gets off the ground because she always comes up with another activity for in-between. Bouncing slapstick comedy read in a girlish, idealistic tone (Moxy is always confident about her elaborate plans) by Clea Lewis.

Not the best book. It was a little too easy!

I fell in love with Moxy Maxwell and her procrastination techniques. Laughed out loud several times during the hour or so it took to read.

Read in 2008-2009. Booktalk selection Fall 2009 for older 3rd and 4th grade. Moxy is a precocious 9 year old who has one afternoon to read Stuart Little, but so many things keep popping up which prevent her from reading.

I really loved this book. My own daughter could have written it and, I know many kids can relate!

What a cute and wholesome story about a girl who does like to read but does not like to be told what to read. Her summer assignment was to read Stuart Little because her new 4th grade teacher will be giving a quiz on it the first day back to school. Needless to say she has put it off until the night before school starts. Very funny and cleverly written.
