The conversation between Ariel and Cecilia at the hills [almost by the end of the book] is clean, sincere, innocent and true.
Like most of Gaarder's books this one is written "for kids" but I do believe that you grasp it all a lot more and in a deeper sense.

É uma história emocinante sobre a visão de uma criança á beira da morte e forma de encontra para partir em paz e deixar confortado as pessoas que ama. É uma forma muito bonita e original de deixar um legado, através da visão pura e inocente de uma criança.

" We see everything in a glass, darkly. Sometimes we can peer though the glass and catch a glimpse of what is on the other side. If we were to polish the glass clean, we'd see much more. But then we would no longer see ourselves. " look how beautiful this sentence is! So wise and deep, so full of ourself.
This book is not hard, I mean, we all can understand the sentence, but everyone would have different understanding of what the story want use to experience.
I started my note for vocabularies the same time I started this book, I realize there are not very much hard vocabularies I need to put in, instead, those words I saw were the ones we all understand, but this book, is a book that you have to use your brain to read it, it is not those that "puts so many difficult words in, but you won't have to use brain at all"'s story, it let's me think about the world again, with a newborn child's curious eyes, and with a mind that stretch out wide.
I did not know how would I be able to explain those thoughts that Mr. Gaarder wrote in, what I had to say is, go on read the book! Even though you've read it before, read it again, it is a book that worth you to overlook.

Great book. Not for everyone because it's not an simple shallow book. It's a book that makes me think a lot.
