“For those who have not had basic physical science courses but who have a high tolerance for scientific jargon, this is probably a very interesting book. For the other 95% of the population, this may not be worth reading. This Is Your Brain On Music has its moments, but for the most part reviews very basic scientific information about music, such as what sound is, along with some equally simple musical terminology (pitch and rhythm, for example). What saves this book from the dreaded...”
