I just finished this book and throughout it I actually felt extasy and decadence in the same ammount. The main character is exceptionally built, a portrayal of the artist, the unknown genius. I lost patience over him several times and kept asking why, why deny everything? Just to understand that everything comes down to his principles, his ideals, his plan to make something out of his life. A true lesson of life, of survival and of hope, despite the accute pesimism of the story. Considering...
