It peaked during the nine months he spent in a remote Italian village following the local side, which had inexplicably played its way to Serie B. I blame my obsession on thrree facts: I started playing soccer at the age of 12; I started working with Liverpool fan Lee Watkiss; then I was in Germany a month before World Cup '06. Now I too can't get enough of the beautiful game. This incredible book only feeds the beast.”
