Wow Wow Wow. Houllebecq is so honest it hurts. Bouncing between hippie communes in Paris and Northern California in the 60's while watching his a free-loving ex-wife bang young boys, the main character is just pathetic. perverted, tormented, and totally unlovable, this guy is the best damned hero to come around since Sartre's Antoine Roquentin! not for everyone.
