Fascinating, introspective account of living with a spouse with traumatic brain injury. Not really too much about dogs, if that is what you are looking for. A 3 hanky ending.

Abigail Thomas gives a moving and raw account of her life with her husband after his tragic accident. She must say goodbye to the man she married and learn to adapt to this new person. Her journey is touching and relevant for all of us who have lost someone or something in our lives.

I saw the author at my local independent bookstore (Changing Hands, in Tempe, AZ). She was fascinating to listen to, and she answered many questions. This is an unforgettable book. What a strong woman she is!
