  “Coming of the Fairies was out of print for so long. The original copies were going for astronomical figures, but I just wanted to read the book- This still floors me, how the creator of Sherlock Holmes was so taken in by this hoax.
  One of the theories I've read regarding this, was Doyle's dad was a staunch believer in fairies, unfortunately, he spent many years in asylums. The theory being if Doyle could prove the existence of fairies, his father would be vindicated.
  The book is delightful, and the pictures are quite enchanting, but I just can't believe how many people fell for this.”
