Liked It “Another good one from J.D. Mason, all about infidelity. The only thing that I didn't like about this book is that there were a lot of characters and it made the beginning a bit difficult for me to follow, however, the storyline maintained my interest from start to finish.” see full review » see other reviews » |

“I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. I could relate to all the characters one way or another. Sometimes I cursed, cried or laughed at some of the characters. Well written!”

“The book was just ok for me. It didn't wet my appetite for more like J.D. Mason's other books - "Sugar" and "One Day I Saw A Black King". "This Fire..." was a page turner, so it took a little more than two weeks to read.”

“I love all of J.D. Mason's books! I was not disappointed with this read. The four women(Tess, Faye, Elise & Renee)in this book all had some drama going on! What I most enjoyed about the story was that each woman learned from the mistakes they had made in the name of love. I would have to say that Tess was my favorite character. I believe cheating is wrong, however, that no good husband of hers had it coming!

Renee successful in her interior decorating company, a man in her life, but she having a affair with her client's husband. He love his wife,
but yet Lewis can't deny the feeling that he hads for Renee.
Tess been faithful marry to her husband of 20yrs, he a deacon. Through all his infidelity she haves stood by him. She now ready to take control of her own life, she is interested in another man.
Elis is falling in love with a married man, who love his wife and kids. Elis is what his wife is not, Jay tells her things about his wife that different from Elise. Elise is hoping that one day he will leave his wife to be with her.
Faylene looks down on themhoping they end up in a scandalous affair. But she have dirt in her life that makes them look like angels. Excellant story was in a hurry trying to get through this book, to the last page. This let you know that not even christians are perfect. We all makes mistakes. god must always be in our lives. But it was worth it. ”
