Interesting story about the evolution of sientist's ability to accurately determine time since death. The story includes interesting facts on how forensic entomology and forensic botany became integral in establishing time since death. Well written.

I almost went into forensics to become a forensic entomologist after reading this (then realized it took about 13 years and changed my mind :-] ). Explores how forensics was born, as well as how a body decomposes under different conditions and how we can estimate time of death by looking at weather, insects, plants and other factors in decomposition.
