Keeps you glued to it for most part of it however the politics kinda takes the charm away.. Definitely a must read for people who love politics..”

An excellent book that follows naturally and doesnt spoil in the reading immediately after the first.”

The Prodigal Daughter is a sequel work to Kane and Abel. all the lights are being shed on Florentyna Rosnovski, daughter of Abel from the moment she is born until the moment she achieves her ultimate goal.
While I was reading the very first few chapters, I felt a little disappointed even through I was fully grabbed, because most of the events were repeated previously in Kane and Abel. However, in this novel, the events were added with more details seen through the eyes of Florentyna, the ambitious girl who never gave up.
& to be more frank with you, I do not know how to jot down all the feelings I have to review this book while being just. I feel I am unqualified to evaluate Jeffrey's work. Seriously, who am I to be an intellectual equal of what he had written! After all, he proved to be a master of TWISTS, and a storyteller in the class of Alexandre Dumas.
I have always wondered... What makes a novel a "good" one?
The answer came a long as time passed...
For me, when a novel gives us "MOTIVATION" and leaves great positive impact upon us to move ahead with our lives while being HAPPY and CONTENT, it is considered "good" despite being a very long and slow paced one.
But when it is MOTIVATIONAL, {REALISTIC}, INTERESTING, & FAST-PACED, it is considered one of the best. Automatically, the mind tapes all the events and plays them all over at times of despair and even times of happiness and celebration :)
Go ahead and read it. It will give you a clear understanding that being a successful person involves you to devote a lot of time while being completely patient and hard working to achieve what you have always wanted to have.
The reason why I gave it 4 is because I DO NOT LIKE politics at all, and this book has a lot of politics stuffed into it. However, it is one of my favs.
