This was a good book. It would be hard to understand if you didn't have a base of philosophical understanding. I am planning to read several books in this series dealing with how pop culture is propogating philosophical paradigms without most of the viewers/hearers even realizing it.

Some of it was over my head, but there were parts that were both funny and educational. It was fun to go back and watch the sketches and movies that were discussed in the book with an eye to the philosophy involved.

Serious philosophers discussing the meaning of Monty Python. This actually quite a deep book, even though Python fans will crack up throughout. What a great idea for a series of books--one exists on the Simpsons, Seinfeld, The Sopranos, U2, Star Wars, among others.
