I find it so modernist - very much ahead of his time as to the genre, there's poetry in it, stories within his story, fantasy, religion - a smörgåsbords of everything. But of course at the end was so anti-climatic for having to retract what he did. But still you ought to be quixotic to read Don Quixote. A-must read.”
