Tyson has become one of my favorite scientists since I heard him speak at Beyond Belief 06 and at various occasions on Point of Inquiry (NPR).
His love (better, his passion) for science and the universe is transparently projected in his writings and in his light-hearted interpretations of various doomsday scenarios.
He's been compared to Carl Sagan on being a true embassador and promoter of Science to the general public; a title that he humbly deflects on the accoun of being taught by...
