Great Eve Dallas story, as usual. Nice little short to read in one sitting.

Nicole R 3 out of 5 stars This 100 page novella (originally a part of the anthology Silent Night) starts a mere 6 hours after the ending of Holiday in Death and focuses on a serial killer that has escaped from prison and is determined to spend New Year's Eve with Eve. The story was obviously pretty rushed given the short time frame but also was more developed than I expected (I don't often read anthologies). The peripheral characters were glaringly absent but it is forgivable given the context. I highly recommend reading this one directly after Holiday in Death - consider it supplemental material.

you cannot skip this short story. you get a lot of information from the story. some of it is mentioned in later books. read after holiday but before conspiracy.
