A definite page turner! Glad I read this a few weeks before I'll be camping in the woods, literally! *sarcasm* :)

This book, oh...my...God. This book was, by far, the most insane I have ever read. This is actually my first horror novel, and I loved it! This book should never be made into a movie because there is no way possible to get it as perfectly disconcerting as the book. The animalistic cannibalism of the people from the woods was utterly savage. The writing was so thoroughly descriptive that you could, not only visualize the story, but you could also feel the characters' emotions and pain and stress and horror. I found myself inside this novel alongside the tourists. I was exhausted after reading this book. But I was also very, very pleased.

I.ve just begun this book, but the opening chase scene was something I could see and feel. So far, this book has aroused my senses. If it persists, I may read more of his works.

Very good, on par with the Friday the 13th movies and that sort of thing. Have
yet to read "Lost" by the same author but it's in my to be read collection.
