Didn’t Like It

I read half of the book until my interest was gone & I was just looking at words. I didn't finish this one. For me, this was dull and going no where. For others they may love it.

The story was great, but there are allot of word mistakes. Could have been revised better.

Interesting story line. Not great writing. Some of my boys will enjoy it.

Very good book, had a very 'dungeon & dragon game' feel to it.

Good story, descriptive storytelling is weak. A good read for free, but not buying any sequels for $5

I don't like regular joe transported to magical land books, and this one kept the tradition going. Not to mention the writing is super repetitive (please can I hear how much a room cost again!??) and nothing is explained.

If you read to much into it, the dynamic between the main character and the kid he rescues (no I don't remember their names) makes for a "what happens when the mentor figure is the novice" theme. But the author obviously didn't intend it.

This was a really exciting story about a guy who became a mage, and landed in a strange new world.
I loved the action, elements of magic, and great writing!
I think most fantasy lovers will really enjoy this book. I can't wait to read the second in the series, Fires of Prophecy.
