This book is full of rhymes and good times!! I loved to read it!! T.S. Eliot rocks!!!!! make sure that you see the play or listen to the music from Cats!!

Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats is cute, entertaining, but is not meant to be great poetry. =P

T. S. Eliot wrote these poems for his godchildren, and while children of all ages may enjoy reading about how “a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES” these poems do not reflect his work. Ironically, due to the play version of “Cats” the short whimsical poems in this volume are among his best-known works today.
