Yeah, this isn't really a book. It does have an ISBN, though, so I'm counting it.

It's got some pretty funny stuff in it about the various explorers of the Discworld, and comments from Pratchett and Briggs about the making of the map, but it's not really a book.

Great fun,...

Many people have complained that producing a Discworld Mapp spoils the unmapped concept of Pratchett's creations. Fine. Just don't buy the map then. I am new to the Discworld Novels and (I imagine) I may well get overwhelmed by the many places that you must traverse in nearly 40 books.
I must admit that as old geography student I do love drooling over maps and always study them in fantasy Novels. However, I do applaud Pratchett for being reluctant to produce a map due to the philosophy that he didn't want to be writing stories to fill that map. Unfortunately I feel that too many fantasy authors do exactly that without realising it.
Anyways, this is a good visual guide if you want it.

Great fun, though, and perfect for what it is. I'm thinking it'll be interesting to refer to next time I read a Discworld book.
