“Read it in middle school, so I would say good for that age level. I thought it was a really cool blend of suspense and realistic magic woven in. The characters are really engaging and there's enough comedy to keep it somewhat light-hearted. I also really liked that throughout this book and the rest in the series, despite everything weird that happens, the protagonist is very real. She's not perfect and doesn't pretend to be; she's very relatable.
