Some good ideas mixed with sexist platitudes from someone who values personal success over community.

I loved the layout...very interesting. Written by an advertising executive and designed by an advertising creative, the book is a presentation of ideas and advices as what can be expected from advertising people...unconventional. Rightly so. The book itself is a challenge for every individual and whoever lays his/her hands on it will feel something extra special about was done to arrive at its concept. As for the content, some are easily doable while some are too risky (like getting fired) that I'm not sure if I would even try it...maybe that's my challenge: getting out of my comfort zone.

I like this book so much, it's like a little bible you want to keep close. Excellent (must) read for (senior) designers.

Mildly interesting / motivating...got it as a gift. Thesis: you choose whether to be extraordinary.

Fifteen year veteran of Saatchi & Saatchi, Paul Arden has written a great little book, chocked full of wisdom. (Thank you to my VeraSage colleague from New Zealand, Peter Byers, for suggesting this book to me).

    You'll love it!
