A book that helps sort out and address issues of unity and cohesion in an organization. The book serves to help an organization wade through departmental log jams in pursuit of its over all vision

I believe this book brings out some amazing problems that exist in any larger organizations, and Lencioni addresses it with clarity. I really enjoyed this book and saw a lot of practical use for me personally. He brings to light the idea that the best way to destroy politics, and silos in any organization is to have constant crisis going on. Obviously he suggests that before there is a big crisis we can create one by coming up with a theme for the organization that gets everyones attention and that must be addressed to carry the vision forward. It is just a must read and if you see silos, politics, and turf wars in your organization please help yourself by reading this book.

Like the rest of Lencioni's books I really like the fable style he uses. As someone who recently deciding to go out on his own and start a consulting business this book really hit home. The subject is great too since I have seen my share of silos and turfwars.

We will use this thematic goal and defining objectives to ready the IS department for an ERP replacement project.

I am a huge fan of anything Patrick Lencioni - I think that this book keeps in line with his other reads. It hit me where I needed since I deal with these types of issues everyday at work.

All of Lencioni's books are worth reading. I was hoping this one would go deeper into the areas of departmental struggles within organizations. It did offer, however, a good model for working TOGETHER as a team.
