I enjoyed this coming of age tale written in the 40's in the South. I could often identify with the main character. Very interesting.

Didn’t Like It

I really wanted to like this but the main character was so annoying and completely bratty, and not in a fun way. The side characters kept me going and that fact that the novel was short.
