I loved the story alotttttttttt in sooooooooo many ways, Miranda is soooo much like alot of girls in sooo many ways, and the way she crushes over her bestfriend older brother is just sooo tapical and sweet!! though I hated Nigel for not loving her sooooooo much or noticing her as she did!!

I curled up with The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever and was instantly transported back in time. The plot is that of the traditional historical romance - which I really enjoy. And in my opinion, Ms. Quinn does historical romance wonderfully.

This book is peppered with wry humourous rejoinders from Miss Cheever and Julia Quinn’s trademark of writing simple stories which touches the heart nonetheless, and entertains. Read full review here.

I absolutely loved this book. I think it was the first I have read of this author, and I look forward to reading others by her.

I adore this book! I am a huge fan of Julia Quinn. When this book came out i just had to grab it up. Both herione and hero were superb! Miranda in particular, had a heart of gold and in the end showed us what it was to love. The emotional scene near the end given by the hero had me in tears....great read!

What was interesting about this book is the diary. Not that a character keeping a diary is all that original, but I enjoyed reading her inner thoughts and struggle. I sometimes wish writers would do this for the male lead as well. Took me a tad longer to read than normal, wasn't that great of a read.
