“I grabbed this randomly from a sale table, and didn't particularly expect to like it. But it was very funny, some good easy conversation, and quick-moving. I read it in a couple days. There was some plotting funkiness--she doesn't know how to foreshadow and build up suspense, so when something surprising happens, it's too surprising. The two big surprises were really out of left field.”
