This book is about a group called League of Extroardinary Men that have super powers and they arrive in London to help out the people there that are being invaded by aliens. They meet a wealthy man that has enough money to build machines that can kill the alins. I gave it 5 stars. The reason I gave it 5 stars is that it is packed full of action and drama and thats my favorite.

Not as good as volume 1. Not even close. The graphic story lacked excitement and punch. The tales of Murray and Quartemain's travels was almost tiring. Although I did enjoy the Lebowski reference.

I was very disappointed with the second volume. When I read the first few issues I was really excited--War of the Worlds! Island of Dr. Moreau!--and then I kept reading and the level of intensity never went anywhere. It was like he wrote the second volume as an excuse for sex scenes between Mina and Quartermain and to kill off the League. Everyone's miserable or dead by the end. Whoopee!

Not as good as the first volume, as Alan Mooredelves into futher realms of fantasy - but not with the same edge as the last one.
