This is another fine herbal mystery from Susan Wittig Albert in Texas. This deals with the herb of rosemary. A great read with good tidbits of rosemary lore.

I knew the "who, how and why" about 100 pages into this book. It was a pretty enjoyable read -- the "spooky" stuff was a little hard to take, and like I said, the plot was pretty transparent. But not a bad entry into the China Bayles series.

This is another installment in a fine mystery series starring China Bayles, owner of an herb shop in a small Texas town. Along with a well written mystery, you can learn a lot about herbs. Very enjoyable.

A solid good mystery series. Written by a woman with a woman protagonist, China Bayles, who has an herb and plant store in smalltown USA. Mysteries and murder seem to find her & she goes about getting to the bottom of the problems with the help of her new age shop owner friend. Read the whole series, which also imparts a fair amount or gardening technique and herbal history.
