“I understand the the "tropics" are widely read, perhaps Miller's most popular works, but I recommend that fans of these try the fascinating and peculiar Sexus, Plexus, and Nexus, which I actually thought were more interesting.
Also - put a Henry Miller book in your car in case you get stuck at a traffic jam like an accident or closed bridge as they can be enjoyed anytime and opened and closed anywhere. Good reads.”
“It is undoubtedly a book worth reading, rendering Miller's love tribulations and the creator's eternal struggle and search for inspiration and perfection. His ingredients: vacillating between his family( a mature Miller carrying the burden of the misunderstood teenager) and an endless love triangle, his opinions on being a writer, art, Jewish, Dostoyevski, allusions to Romania and world archetypes make the work interesting and unforgettable.”
