Nader gives us a glimpse into his truly American family, one that exemplified real American virtues. The traditions are: the family table, health, history, scarcity, sibling equality, education and argument, discipline, simple enjoyments, reciprocity, independent thinking, charity, work, business, patriotism, solitude and civics. If you expect to be a parent, this book provides an excellent framework to help you be a good one. If not, it provides an intelligent look at virtues to cultivate in your own life.”

Not a downer at all, a very uplifting, hope filled spin on mixing some important traditions into life today. It can be done and all are happier for it!”
