“Ah, such a good book. First watched the movie when I was little and loved it. Found out it was based on a book and checked it out of my library. Devoured it in a week! Still one of my favorites. Fannie Flagg knows exactly what should be written exactly when it should be written. This is another great book concerning civil rights set in the South, but with such a twist. This might be one of the better books that represents the lengths people are willing to go to in order to protect the ones they love. Highly recommend!”
